Driving Directions

The store is located in downtown Red Lodge, Montana, at 11 North Broadway, diagonally across from the Pollard Hotel (you may find listings for 16 North Broadway; that's where we used to be until February 2010). Red Lodge is on Highway 212, northeast of Yellowstone Park over the scenic Beartooth Highway (the pass is open only in the summer). We're about an hour from Billings, Montana or Cody, Wyoming.

If you're coming over the Beartooth Pass from Yellowstone, then stay on the main road (Highway 212 is Broadway), and you'll see Red Lodge Books on the left side just past the Pollard Hotel's big "moose" sign.

If you're coming in from Absarokee or Roscoe, take Highway 78 all the way to Broadway and turn right. Red Lodge Books will be on your right, just past the Bull & Bear.

If you're coming from Cody or Powell, Wyoming, come up Highway 72 past Clark. When you reach Belfry, turn left on 308. Go about 14 miles (past Bear Creek and Washoe), up and over the summit. When you come down into Red Lodge, cross over Rock Creek and turn right. We'll be on the left-hand side just past 11th street.

If you're coming from Billings or Laurel, take Highway 94 to 212. Go past Boyd and Roberts and into Red Lodge. We'll be on the right-hand side just after 10th street.
