Montana author/radio personality Chrysti Smith is coming back to Red Lodge Books to talk about (what else?) words. Her "Chrysti the Wordsmith" radio broadcast is a daily, two-minute audio interlude produced in the studios of KGLT-FM at Montana State University, Bozeman.

Since 1990, Chrysti has been plumbing the depths of dictionaries obscure, arcane and pedestrian to craft word and phrase histories for her radio audience, and for her two books, Verbivore's Feast: A Banquet of Word and Phrase Origins, and Verbivore's Feast Second Course: More Word & Phrase Origins.

Chrysti's books are fascinating and entertaining, and her talks are even more so. Come by and meet her between 3:00 and 5:00, and she'll give a talk about words and word origins at 5:00.
